I'm in the middle of editing this Daf and it occurs to me that the word "הגדה" is mentioned (approximately half way down 7B), this happens to be the Daf for Wednesday, Erev Pesach/Pesach.
I remember Rabbi Moshe Meir Weiss Shlita saying, a number of years ago, when the topic of Chanukah in Gemara Shabbos was being learnt a short while before Chanukah, how appropriate it is to be learning the topic in preparation.
In this case, it's just a word that is also central to the upcoming Holiday of Pesach.
